Delete project

Follow these steps to permanently remove a project and all its associated data from your workspace.

Irreversible

Project deletion cannot be undone. This will permanently remove the project, all its notifications, API keys, display presets, and member associations. Consider archiving or transferring ownership if you might need the project later.

Step‑by‑step

  1. Open your Project Overview for the project you want to delete.
  2. Click the Edit icon in the project header to open the edit dialog.
  3. In the edit dialog, locate the Delete button at the bottom-left corner of the page.
  4. Click Delete.
  5. Confirm the action in the confirmation dialog.
What gets removed
  • The project and all its notifications are permanently deleted
  • All API keys associated with the project are revoked
  • All custom display presets are removed
  • All team member associations are removed
  • All analytics data are removed

Tips

Safer alternatives
  • If you only need to restrict access, remove team members instead of deleting the project
  • If you're reorganizing, consider transferring project ownership to another team member
  • For temporary suspension, you can remove all team members except yourself and keep the project inactive
Owner limitations

As a project owner, you cannot leave a project (it would delete the project). You must either transfer ownership to another member first, or delete the project entirely.

Troubleshooting

Common issues
  • Can't delete project? Check if you're the project owner - only owners can delete projects
  • Delete button not visible? Ensure you're in the project overview page and have clicked the Edit icon
  • Confirmation dialog not appearing? Make sure you're clicking the red Delete button, not Cancel

After deletion, you'll be returned to your projects list. The deleted project will no longer appear anywhere in your workspace.
